Map of Central America
This is a map of Central America built with Interactive World Maps wordpress plugin.
It’s very simple to create this kind of map. Take a look at the administration panel of the plugin, to see what settings we choose:

To color the countries we used the country names as a string, but we could also have used an uppercase ISO-3166-1 code. We choose the action ‘open url in new window’, so when the user clicks, a new url will open, in this case, the wikipedia page for that country, but you can set your own url.
The Central America map includes the following countries:
- Belize
- Costa Rica
- El Salvador
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- Mexico
- Nicaragua
- Panama
With this plugin, you can also display maps of North America, South America, the Caribbean or any other continent or sub-continent.
